Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd in East and West Sussex is seeking a Care Assistant to join Blatchington Manor on day shifts in our specialist dementia care residential home.

Hours are 36 or 42 per week with competitive pay, paid breaks, free uniform and DBS, and access to pay as you earn. We invest in training and career progression within a family-owned provider committed to quality care.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.
