Cardiff Capital is seeking a dedicated 35 Hour Care Worker to join our care team in Aberdare. You will support residents with daily living activities, follow care plans, provide personal care and engage residents in social activities to promote dignity and independence.

We offer training, paid DBS and registration with Social Care Wales, and opportunities for career progression. Welsh language skills are helpful and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Reliable and compassionate with good communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and on your own initiative.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily living activities following individual care plans.
• Provide personal care including dressing, washing, grooming and feeding.
• Offer social contact and emotional support to residents and encourage independence.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies, standards and procedures of the Council.
