Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking compassionate Clinical Support Workers to join a friendly, supportive team caring for patients with dementia. The roles emphasise person-centred care and teamwork with families and the wider MDT to deliver high-quality outcomes.

There will be multiple positions: two 36-hour contracts and one 21.24-hour contract, with shifts including days, nights and weekends. Interviews are scheduled for 12 October 2026; early close possible due to volume of applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or dementia care is advantageous but not required.
• Interest in delivering person-centred care and working with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients living with moderate to advanced dementia.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes.
• Deliver person-centred care and support patients and families.
• Cover a 12 hour shift pattern including day, night and weekends.
