Job summary

Danone is seeking a Demand Planning Manager in the UK to own and deliver accurate customer- and SKU-level forecasts within the monthly S&OP process. You will turn data and market insights into a robust demand plan, challenging assumptions and driving improvements in forecast accuracy, bias, service, and waste.

You will lead cross-functional reviews, translate product launches into forecast scenarios, and monitor new product performance, ensuring timely forecast adjustments and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with S&OP processes and cross-functional decision making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical capability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting; machine-learning experience is desirable.
• Proactive mindset with ability to work in uncertain environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain 18-month demand forecasts by customer and SKU.
• Own short- and long-term demand views, balancing operational priorities with strategy.
• Develop and improve forecasting models (statistical and ML).
• Perform scenario planning and risk/opportunity analyses.
• Lead monthly cross-functional demand reviews with clear actions.
