Danone UK is seeking a Demand Planning Manager for a 1-year fixed term contract. You will own the customer- and SKU-level demand forecast and drive the S&OP process.

Working with Commercial, Marketing and Operations, you will analyse data, forecast accuracy, bias and service, and lead cross-functional reviews. A results-driven, analytical mindset with Excel, Power BI and SAP IBP skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of S&OP processes and cross-functional decision-making.
• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with experience managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into action.
• Knowledge and practical experience of statistical forecasting; machine-learning experience desirable.
• Agility and sound judgement with the confidence to make decisions in uncertain environments.
• Results-focused, improvement-oriented mindset.
• Strong Excel capability; experience with Power BI and SAP IBP is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain accurate customer- and SKU-level forecasts across a rolling 18-month horizon.
• Own both short- and long-term demand views, balancing operational priorities with business needs.
• Run, evaluate and improve statistical and machine-learning forecasting models.
• Combine internal and external data to identify risks and opportunities; lead scenario planning.
• Lead monthly cross-functional demand reviews with clearly captured decisions and actions.
• Translate innovation business cases and launch plans into robust forecast scenarios.
• Monitor new product performance and recommend forecast adjustments.
• Own KPI reporting and drive actions from results.
• Anticipate demand changes' impact on supply and communicate risks to Supply Planning.
• Drive continuous improvement using digital tools to automate processes and reporting.
