Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Demand Planning Manager are:

• Leading a team of Demand Planners, who together:
• Manage service level for the country/MSU.
• Identify & resolve service risks, with escalation to the Central Planning for decision-making in case of stock shortages.
• Communicate product availability (including NPDs) vs demand to Customer Service.
• Monitor slow moving and potentially obsolete stocks, & propose improvement actions for approval by Central Planning.
• Execute local S&OP Demand meetings.
• Ensure that agreed target weekly service levels are achieved for the MSU.
• Identify & resolve service risks.
• Focus on talent management: people development and improving the capabilities of the Demand Planners team.
• Evaluate external customer satisfaction, define, and implement improvement activities based on these results.

Qualifications

Must have:

• Experience or potential to lead a team of 6-10 people.
• Highly analytical and accurate.
• Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain planning experience.
• Experience with SAP APO.
• Good communication skills and the ability to influence others.
• Eager to take ownership and initiative.
