Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Control, preferably in Supply Planning.

Job description

The Opportunity

Fixed Term Contract - 9 Months

We have a fixed term contract opportunity available for a Supply Planner to join our Demand Planning team based in London. This role ensures maximum availability and optimal stock coverage for the local warehouse situated in the U.K. You will proactively mitigate OOS and stock lows, ensuring inbound shipments are sufficient to meet demand.

This role is vital to ensuring the success of our Retail and Ecommerce channels across multiple brands. The role will co-ordinate across several teams including Demand Planning, Global Supply Planning, Logistics and Commercial teams.

What you'll get to do:

  • Proactively review stock coverage to ensure maximum availability
  • Review and assess DRPs to ensure they cover the required needs for the local market
  • Ensure launches, promotional activities and essential items (i.e. bags) have sufficient coverage
  • Expedite shipment request for low or OOS products to minimise availability impacts
  • Liaise with Global Supply Planning to maximise availability in local warehouse
  • Liaise with Demand Planning to understand demand and key events
  • Manage local life cycle: (PIPO, Liquidation, Discontinued)
  • Reporting of availability metrics
  • Review and adjust safety stock levels in alignment with Global Inventory team
  • Cross functional support
  • Exception Management (EM) of launches and controlled product
  • Rebalance reserves between Retail and Ecomm channels, particularly in scarcity
  • S&OP participation
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required to support business need

  • Experience in Supply Chain (Inventory Control etc), preferably Supply Planning
  • Proficiency in Excel (Look Ups, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • SAP experience
