Job summary

The Range is seeking a dynamic Demand Planner to be based at its Head Office in Plymouth. You will use forecasting, data analysis and replenishment planning to ensure product availability and optimise stock levels across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include forecasting demand, reviewing patterns including promotions, identifying forecast anomalies, handling ordering exceptions, and coordinating with Buying teams to support availability and replenishment efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain within retail/FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and spot trends.
• Experience with forecasting or replenishment systems desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI/analytics tools.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good commercial awareness and confident communication.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand for products ensuring stock availability.
• Review and analyse demand, reflect expected patterns including promos.
• Identify SKUs with forecast deviations and root causes.
• Handle and review ordering exceptions and authorise orders.
• Create and maintain ordering schedules for availability and replenishment.
• Forecast and manage upcoming promotions.
• Review KPIs and inbound/outbound projections.
• Liaise with Buying teams on assortment, forecast exceptions and volumes.
