Job summary

1st Executive Ltd. in Wolverhampton is seeking a Demand Planner to optimise stock and ensure end-to-end availability across FMCG distribution for wholesalers, retailers and hospitality clients.

You will coordinate replenishment with suppliers, use BI tools to monitor KPIs, and work in a hybrid model with three days on site and two from home. ASAP start; strong stakeholder collaboration required.

Qualifications

• Replenishment experience is essential.
• Experienced with Blue Yonder or RELEX or similar.
• Maintain stock targets and improve inventory levels.
• Work with suppliers to provide forecasts for stock and promotions.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days on site, 2 from home.
• ASAP start.

Job description

I am currently recruiting for a Demand Planner for a FMCG distribution company who work with wholesalers, retailers and the hospitality industry.

You will ideally be immediately available or on short notice

• Maximise group availability on all products in certain commodity groups with Varied seasonally driven sales communicating opportunities and risks
• Huddles: To challenge, share, understand and action to ensure we are on track to deliver a positive outcome
• Optimise and deliver targeted Pre/Post chop KPI's the department is targeted against. Working with Power BI data sources.
• Identify stock anomalies to avoid wastage issues in line with budgets
• Building relationships with suppliers to provide forecasts for stock requirements, future promotions, and seasonal activity.
• Challenge and measure supplier inbound performance
• Work collaboratively with other departments to make sure end to end availability is achieved
• Building strong trading and supplier relationships to maximise and deliver our KPI Targets
• Maintain the Demand Planning programs and product file
• Work to stock holding targets at commodity group level responsible for managing and analysing stock to ensure best inventory levels
