Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Demand Planner based in Dewsbury to lead forecasting and planning across consumer and manufacturing environments. The role focuses on aligning procurement, stock and supply chain operations with market needs.

You will analyse historical sales, collaborate with ecommerce and commercial teams on campaigns, and generate regular demand and inventory reports to keep the supply chain efficient. The permanent position offers a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning or a related supply chain role.
• Experience in consumer, ecommerce or manufacturing environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning systems/ERP/forecasting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with S&OP and D365.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales, trends and seasonality to create demand plans.
• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts across B2C channels.
• Collaborate with Ecommerce and Commercial teams on campaigns and launches.
• Support inventory and stock planning with demand insights.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely materials delivery.
• Review and refine demand planning processes for efficiency.
• Generate regular reports on demand trends and inventory performance.
• Address demand-related issues and provide stakeholder solutions.
• Use demand planning software to support forecasting activities.
