This is a fantastic opportunity to join our SCM team as a Demand Planner.

Our demand planning team manages LG’s flagship products across Home Entertainment (TV, AV), Home Appliances (REF, WM), and Information Technology (IT). As a Demand Planner, you will maintain forecast performance and supply plan information flow, analyze weekly stock levels, generate consolidated forecasts, and upload forecasts to the global demand planning system, monitoring forecasting performance.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales & Supply Chain Managers to develop and improve forecasting processes, enhance accuracy, and reduce volatility through innovation.
• Analyze historical and market trends weekly using statistical tools to generate forecasts, review sales forecasts, identify trends in fast & slow-moving products, and account for seasonality and market changes like promotional activities and events.
• Monitor performance metrics and non-conformance issues with suppliers and customers to drive process improvements, providing fact-based analysis and corrective actions.
• Build collaborative relationships with key customers to improve forecast accuracy, process efficiency, and information flow, optimizing inventory velocity (LTS/DIO) and cash flow.
• Participate in weekly S&OP meetings with suppliers to update production plans and prepare rolling forecasts.
• Regularly review and report progress to the Demand Planning Manager, Sales Head, SCM Director, and European Supply Chain team, identifying bottlenecks and recommending remedial actions.

Skills, Education & Experience

• Experience in Forecasting and Supply Chain principles, with strong supply planning background preferred (inbound and outbound).
• Understanding of commercial processes, production planning, and retail order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of the relevant Business Unit markets is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, formulas) and confidence with new systems.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to challenge forecasts assertively and reach consensus.
• Logical, proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with performance management, KPIs, and Service Level Agreements.
