Northampton - Hybrid (once integrated in team, 3 days at home, 2 days in office per week)

Role Summary:

We are recruiting for a Demand Planner, reporting to the Senior Demand Planning Manager. This role is vital to our success and offers the opportunity to contribute to our growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage short-term forecast horizons based on sales data, recent performance, and intelligence to develop the final demand view.
• Share assumptions related to the latest forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities, and interpret forecast changes' impact.
• Improve forecast accuracy through weekly measurements, trend analysis, and tracking forecast vs. sales.
• Coordinate customer prioritization with Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and Customer Service to ensure forecasts align with planned sales and marketing activities.

Experience and Skills:

• Previous demand planning experience within FMCG preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices, ideally within retail environments.
• Ability to analyze data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Experience with data sources such as SAP/APO, Retail Link, Connect, BI.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Decision-making and problem-solving confidence.
