Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a Demand Planner in Chichester. This is a hybrid role (1 day WFH) with a temp-to-perm path. You will convert customer demand into feasible production plans, manage material supply and coordinate with Production, Procurement and Quality teams.

The position requires experience in Demand/Production Planning and strong IT skills, including Excel. Flexible start times and generous annual leave are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Demand Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain or Materials Planning role.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain item codes, BOMs and routings in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Process customer orders and create Sales Orders and Production Orders in line with capacity and lead times.
• Raise Purchase Orders for bespoke and free-issue materials.
• Manage component stock levels to support production while minimising shortages and excess inventory.
• Track customer orders throughout the manufacturing process and resolve planning issues.
• Provide regular updates on order progress, risks and lead times to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with Production, Procurement and Quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate ERP data to support production planning and inventory management.

We are currently recruiting for aDemand Planneron behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Chichester. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for an organised and proactive planning professional to join a growing Planning & Procurement team.

Reporting to the Head of Planning & Procurement, you will play a key role in converting customer demand into achievable production plans, ensuring materials, manufacturing schedules and stock levels are aligned to meet customer expectations.

Demand Planner - Position Overview

• Create and maintain item codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Process customer orders and create Sales Orders and Production Orders in line with manufacturing capacity and lead times.
