Job summary

Syntax Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Demand Manager for a 3-4 month rolling contract in Slough with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves shaping and prioritising demand for suppliers, coordinating with client stakeholders, and ensuring governance and delivery of IT services. ASAP start with some travel in South-East England.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in demand management, portfolio coordination, and ITSM processes, with ServiceNow knowledge being a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a Demand Manager.
• Experience shaping and prioritising demand for suppliers for project services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience.
• Experience with project portfolio management and ITSM.
• Some knowledge of ServiceNow is desirable.

Demand Manager needed for a 3-4 Month Rolling Contract based in Slough, Reading and South-East (Hybrid) occasion travel. Start ASAP ideally October 2026.

Paying up to £(Apply online only)/day (Outside IR35).

Working with a global IT Consultancy Demand Manager to support client current demands, lead to shape, manage, priorities demand into Supplier.

Ideally start in October/November 2026. This is a chance to work with an established globally recognised Digital, IT and Network Services Consultancy.

Key skills and experience:

• Demonstrable experience working as a Demand Manager.
• Supporting client current demand, lead to shape, manage, prioritise demand into Supplier organisation for the provision of project services, professional service.
• Placing resources, shaping requirements and working with various customer stakeholders.
• Experience of project portfolio management and ITSM processes.
• Some knowledge of ServiceNow desirable.
• Stakeholder management and governance responsibilities along with pipeline and capacity planning across multiple teams working with Suppliers.
• Engaging direct with business stakeholders within the demand management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and reporting communication skills
