Nationwide is seeking a Demand & Resource Planning Consultant for the Websites team. You will own demand, capacity and resource planning, coordinating with Product Owners and Discipline Leads to forecast workload and manage dependencies.
The role emphasizes data-driven insights using Jira, Excel and Power BI to keep delivery aligned with business objectives. Hybrid working is offered with the possibility of UK-based office attendance and home working.
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Demand & Resource Planning Consultant to join Nationwide's Websites team. The Websites team is responsible for delivering exceptional digital experiences across the Nationwide website, app and Internet Bank product pages. Our purpose is simple: to ensure customers enjoy a seamless experience every time they interact with us online.
As the Demand & Resource Planning Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of work across the Websites team. Acting as the central point for demand, capacity and resource planning, you'll provide the visibility, coordination and insight needed to help teams deliver the right work at the right time, with the right resources.
Working closely with Product Owners, Discipline Leads and key stakeholders, you'll oversee the flow of work across multiple teams, balancing priorities, managing dependencies and ensuring delivery plans remain realistic and achievable. You'll use data and forecasting to anticipate future demand, identify capacity constraints and support informed decision-making, helping the organisation make the most effective use of its resources.
This is an opportunity to shape and continually improve how we plan, prioritise and deliver work, playing a key role in driving operational excellence and enabling the Websites team to deliver greater value for both our customers and the business.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. Whilst these locations are where we are primarily looking to fill the role, if you’re an internal applicant based in a different location, we would welcome your application and, if successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this could work for this specific role.
