Job summary

LWC Drinks in Manchester is seeking a Van Driver/Driver's Mate to support the driver in delivering products to customers within a defined area, ensuring safe, professional service and keeping the vehicle clean and well maintained.

You will assist with loading, route planning, completing delivery notes, handling stock shortages, returning empties, and upholding health and safety procedures, while presenting a neat company uniform.

Qualifications

• Strong safety practices and careful driving.
• Valid driving license for the vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading and delivering products to customers.
• Plan and follow delivery routes using run sheets or delivery notes.
• Complete delivery paperwork and return sheets accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and undertake basic operator checks.
• Return empties and ensure secure storage in the yard.
• Support warehouse tasks when not on deliveries.
