Job summary

Evri Group is hiring a Delivery Team Trainer in Bolton on a fixed-term, full-time basis. The role supports new self-employed couriers by guiding them through app setup, onboarding, and first deliveries at the Bolton Delivery Unit. Immediate starts through to Jan 2027 are available.

Ideal candidates will be local to Bolton, comfortable with smartphones, and able to coach others with patience and clarity in a fast-paced logistics environment. Salary £28,000–£32,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in training or coaching others.
• Experience helping people use apps or devices.
• Customer-facing experience in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new self-employed couriers at the Delivery Unit.
• Help them set up and use the courier delivery app.
• Show them how to scan, load and prepare for first deliveries.
• Introduce them to local contacts including the EVRi Business Partner and Territory Manager.
• Support Day 1 onboarding and answer practical questions.
• Help organise first parcel loads to build confidence.
• Act as a positive coach during onboarding.

Help new Evri couriers get started with local support!

We’re hiring Fixed Term Delivery Team Trainer's at our Bolton Delivery Unit to help new self-employed couriers feel confident from Day 1.

This role is ideal if you’re local to Bolton, confident using smartphone apps and enjoy helping people.

Pay: £ 28000-£32000 plus benefits. Location: Farnworth / Radcliffe. Hours: Full-time any 5 days over 7 Monday to Sunday. Start date: Immediate starts through to Jan 2027. Contract: Fixed term, full time contracts.

What you’ll do as a Delivery Team Trainer

You’ll be the friendly face who helps new couriers get off to a strong start.

• Welcome new self-employed couriers when they arrive at the Delivery Unit.
• Help them set up and use the courier delivery app.
• Show them how to scan, load and prepare for their first deliveries.
• Introduce them to key local contacts, including the EVRi Business Partner and Territory Manager.
• Support Day 1 onboarding and answer practical questions.
• Help organise a manageable first parcel load so new couriers can build confidence.
• Act as a positive coach and support person during the onboarding experience.

You don’t need courier experience if you have the right attitude and confidence with people. This could suit you if you have experience in:

• Customer service, retail or hospitality.
• Warehouse, logistics or delivery environments.
• Training, coaching, mentoring or team support.
• Helping people use apps, phones or workplace systems.
• Local part‑time work where reliability matters.

You’ll need to be:

• Confident using smartphones and apps.
• Friendly, patient and clear when explaining things.
• Organised and able to support more than one person at a time.
• Reliable and able to attend the Delivery Unit at agreed times.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving operational environment.
• Local to Bolton or able to travel there easily.
