Job description

Join to apply for the Delivery Supervisor role at Booker Group.

Hours are 10pm - 06.30am, including rota weekends.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Time Transport Supervisor to join our team.

You will be accountable for the efficient running of a busy delivery operation. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to achieve their daily targets. Customer satisfaction is our priority, so excellent telephone and customer service skills are essential.

About the role

Hours are 10pm - 06.30am, including rota weekends.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures.
• Communicating important management information to relevant team members.
• Supervising and maintaining a safe working environment, reporting any health and safety concerns.
• Promoting and driving the brand image through product knowledge and customer service.
• Supporting the delivery manager to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
• Planning and coordinating tasks to ensure timely completion.

You will need

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in warehouse or transport settings.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
