Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Delivery Postie with Driving for Ely Delivery Office. The role is a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 8:00–16:00, five days across Monday–Sunday with two rest days. Saturdays and Sundays work are required, Sunday 09:00–17:00.

You will deliver locally with a UK driving licence and participate in our community-focused service. We offer a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68, 22.5 days holiday (pro rata), full uniform, pension, career development, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
• Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
• Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community.
• Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
• Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do.
• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail to customers across the local area.
• Sort and deliver mail with accuracy and timeliness.
• Represent Royal Mail with a friendly, professional attitude.
