Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Delivery Postie with Driving for the Loughborough Delivery Office. The role is a permanent contract, 30 hours per week across five days including weekends on a rota basis.

You’ll deliver door-to-door and work outdoors in all weather, with a driving element and a focus on friendly customer service in the local community. Shifts are 08:30–14:30 or 13:30–19:30, with Sunday duties roughly every third week.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
• Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
• Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community.
• Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
• Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do.
• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
