Job summary

Booker is seeking a Van driver to join the delivery team on a permanent basis. You will handle picking for the delivery team, support the delivery operation, and ensure customer service excellence with a full driving license.

Responsibilities include accurate picking, dispatch, quality checks, and loading/unloading at customer sites. Overtime opportunities exist, and you’ll be expected to provide top-notch service, arriving on time and presentable.

Qualifications

• Full driving license is required.
• Experience in delivery and customer service preferred.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate picking and dispatch of goods using a handheld terminal.
• Check quality, shelf life and ensure packaging is robust for delivery.
• Provide high standard of customer service by delivering efficiently and to target.
• Load stock into van at branch and unload at customer premises, with accurate paperwork.
• Be polite with delivery staff and refer complex queries to the right person.
