Job summary

itecopeople is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to own multiple systems integration workstreams in a London-based hybrid environment. You will lead delivery from planning through go-live and handover, coordinating across middleware platforms, APIs, cloud and legacy systems, with a strong focus on risk management and stakeholder engagement.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract demanding hands-on delivery experience, cloud familiarity, and the ability to drive projects end-to-end

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on project/delivery management experience specifically within systems integration.
• Experience owning and delivering integration projects.
• Experience with middleware/integration platforms within cloud-based environments.
• Good practical understanding of APIs, middleware, integration patterns and technical dependencies.
• Legacy integration and/or middleware migration experience would be highly desirable.
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management skills.
• Ability to understand technical delivery risks without needing to be a developer.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple integration workstreams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical teams, the business, senior stakeholders and suppliers.
• Good judgement - able to take ownership of problems while recognising when an issue needs escalating.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate potential delivery problems and ensure appropriate mitigation is in place.
• Escalate significant risks and issues at the right time, with clear impact and recommended actions.
• Maintain delivery plans, priorities, resources and dependencies across concurrent workstreams.
• Ensure lessons and root causes from previous integrations inform future delivery.

Delivery Manager - Systems Integration

The Opportunity. We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to take ownership of multiple systems integration workstreams within a complex technology environment.

This is a hands‑on delivery role requiring genuine experience of managing systems integrations through middleware/integration platforms. You don’t need experience of a particular technology stack or sector, but you must have personally owned the delivery of integration projects rather than simply supported them through PMO or governance.

Experience of legacy integrations, cloud environments and migrating integrations from one middleware platform to another would be particularly valuable.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For. At least 5 years’ hands‑on project/delivery management experience specifically within systems integration.

• Demonstrable experience personally owning and delivering integration projects.
• Experience working with middleware or integration platforms within cloud‑based environments.
• Good practical understanding of APIs, middleware, integration patterns and technical dependencies.
• Experience managing integration delivery through the full SDLC.
• Legacy integration and/or middleware migration experience would be highly desirable.
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management skills.
• Ability to understand technical delivery risks without needing to be a developer.

You’ll know where the key risks and dependencies sit, what problems may be coming, what is being done to mitigate them and when stakeholders need to be involved.
