Job Role: Delivery Manager

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location: Warwick / Wokingham / Remote

Pay Rate: 800 per day via umbrella

Our client, a newly established organisation in the utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join their team. As a key player in the transition to a fully independent entity, you will help lead the implementation of essential ERP applications, specifically Workday for Finance and HR, and iValua for Procurement. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the ambitious programme is delivered on time and meets the organisation's needs.

As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Project Management: Lead ERP implementation projects from inception through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget while adhering to governance protocols.
• Team Leadership: Manage a diverse team of ERP specialists, developers, and analysts, fostering collaboration to achieve programme objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing their needs and expectations effectively.
• Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with selected vendors and systems integrators to configure the ERP system according to specific business requirements.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee testing processes to guarantee that the ERP system operates flawlessly and meets established quality standards.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that the ERP system complies with relevant regulations and maintains high standards of data security.
• Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and report on programme performance and KPIs, leveraging data to provide insights into delivery performance and system efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: Several years of experience in ERP implementation and management, particularly with Workday Finance or iValua Procurement, across multiple regions and partnerships.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with major ERP systems and related software.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to deliver projects using both Waterfall and Agile/Safe Agile methodologies, utilising tools such as MS Project, JIRA/ADO, and Kanban for effective planning and resource management.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, with adept problem-solving skills to navigate complex programmes and manage senior stakeholders from various business units.
• Education: A formal qualification in IT, business, project management, or a related field is preferred.
