Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end enabling works across MOD sites in the Chippenham/Corsham area. The role is hybrid, coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders to ensure smooth rollout of essential infrastructure.

You will own project governance and site delivery, aligning with regional points of contact and ensuring timely approvals and access. Active SC clearance is required from day one.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance mandatory prior to starting.
• Telecoms/IT infrastructure rollout experience, preferably in Defence or CNI.
• Familiarity with MOD standards JSP 480 or JSP 453 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide enabling works through the MOD ECR lifecycle (ECR 1-5).
• Act as primary liaison for regional SCIDA and Site POC for sign-offs and access approvals.
• Prioritise task pipelines from the MOD and coordinate technical site survey teams.
• Drive Jira-based scheduling for field engineering teams, oversee OOH rosters and maintain SLA delivery.

Role: Delivery Manager - Defence Infrastructure

Location: Chippenham / Corsham area (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required

We are currently supporting the expansion of a key Defence delivery programme and looking for a Delivery Manager to lead the execution of essential enabling works across MOD sites.

In this role, you'll take ownership of end-to-end site delivery and project governance, working closely with military and civilian stakeholders to ensure seamless rollout:

• Project Governance: Guide enabling works through the complete MOD Engineering Change Request lifecycle (ECR 1-5).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for regional SCIDA and local Site Points of Contact (POC) to lock in technical sign-offs and site access approvals.
• Backlog & Survey Management: Prioritise incoming task pipelines from the MOD and coordinate technical site survey teams.
• Resource Optimisation: Drive Jira-based scheduling for dynamic field engineering teams, oversee out-of-hours (OOH) rosters, and ensure delivery stays within SLA targets.

What We're Looking For

• Active SC Clearance: Mandatory prior to starting due to immediate operational requirements.
• Telecoms/IT Infrastructure Background: Proven track record delivering complex network, telecoms, or IT infrastructure rollouts, ideally across Defence or CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) domains.
• MOD Standards (Desirable): Practical familiarity with MOD standards, specifically JSP 480 or JSP 453, is a strong advantage.
