Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Delivery Manager for modular accommodation projects across the UK. This role focuses on mobilisation, planning and delivering projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, working with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

You will lead pre-start meetings, develop programmes, submit WPPs, manage risks and monitor quality and safety. A full UK driving licence is essential; CSCS/SSSTS qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, modular buildings or related sector.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leading planning and coordination of modular accommodation projects from mobilisation to completion.
• Producing and submitting Works Package Plans (WPPs) in line with BB standards.
• Developing project programmes, timelines and deliverables with customers.
• Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and operations teams to ensure delivery.
• Organising and leading pre-start meetings with key stakeholders.
• Carrying out progress inspections at facilities and sites.
• Monitoring quality, safety, compliance and project performance.
• Identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Supporting resource planning and utilisation.
• Building strong relationships through excellent customer service and communication.

Are you an experienced project or operations professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? Balfour Beatty Asset & Technology Solutions is seeking a Delivery Manager to support the successful mobilisation and delivery of modular accommodation projects across the UK.

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the planning and coordination of modular accommodation projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Producing and submitting Works Package Plans (WPPs) in line with Balfour Beatty standards.
• Developing project programmes, timelines, and key deliverables with customers.
• Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Organising and leading pre-start meetings with key stakeholders.
• Carrying out progress inspections at manufacturing facilities and project sites.
• Monitoring quality, safety, compliance, and project performance throughout delivery.
• Identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Supporting effective resource planning and utilisation.
• Building strong relationships through excellent customer service and communication.

Who we're looking for

• Experience within construction, modular buildings, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• CSCS Supervisor or Manager Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
