Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Delivery Manager to mobilise and deliver modular accommodation projects across the UK. You’ll lead planning, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and ensure safe, timely delivery.

You will manage project programmes, lead stakeholder engagement, and monitor quality and safety throughout. A strong background in construction/modular builds and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within construction, modular buildings, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of modular accommodation projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Produce and submit Works Package Plans (WPPs) in line with BB standards.
• Develop project programmes, timelines, and key deliverables with customers.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Organise and lead pre-start meetings with key stakeholders.
• Carry out progress inspections at manufacturing facilities and project sites.
• Monitor quality, safety, compliance, and project performance throughout delivery.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Support effective resource planning and utilisation.
• Build strong relationships through excellent customer service and communication.

Are you an experienced project or operations professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? Balfour Beatty Asset & Technology Solutions is seeking a Delivery Manager to support the successful mobilisation and delivery of modular accommodation projects across the UK.

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
