Job summary

Currys plc in Hanworth is seeking a First Line Manager to lead the Customer Services Centres and Delivery Centre, coaching and motivating a diverse team to deliver outstanding service. You’ll manage site operations, drive performance, and ensure safety, with cross-functional collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic influence to meet targets and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in a distribution or logistics setting.
• Strong coaching and performance feedback skills.
• Ability to plan workforce and operations to meet targets.
• Excellent cross-function communication with departments.
• Experience in logistics or transport environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the site, staffing and resources.
• Motivate a team of delivery drivers, warehouse teams and support colleagues to deliver on targets.
• Provide regular and consistent performance feedback.
• Influence operational decisions.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth-running operation.
• Communicate with and deputise for Operations Manager, working cross-functionally.
• Create a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
