Linear Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead delivery across major gas infrastructure contracts. You will manage project management teams, oversee safety, programme delivery and commercial performance, and build key client relationships to drive growth.

You will coordinate resources, tenders, and quality controls while mentoring teams and reporting progress to senior leadership. A strong SHEQ focus and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar senior operational role.
• Experience delivering Gas Transmission projects would be highly advantageous.
• Industry-related degree and/or MCIOB or MICE.
• CSCS card.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and contractual requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate resources and lead large multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Project; driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery of multiple contracts ensuring targets for safety, time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction are achieved.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, managing performance, resources and operational risks.
• Oversee tenders for new works, ensuring submissions are accurate and commercially sound.
• Coordinate design, quality management, resource planning and defects and out-of-hours activities.
• Lead and develop project management teams, driving performance against KPIs.
• Promote high standards of SHEQ compliance and company procedures.
• Provide accurate progress reporting and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
