Bite Talent in Manchester is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to take ownership of a fast-paced delivery kitchen operation.

The role focuses on brand standards, operational performance, and delivery metrics, working with the General Manager at the Trafford Centre site. You will lead a small team, monitor KPIs, manage stock and scheduling, and drive improvements with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a delivery kitchen, dark kitchen, or delivery operation.
• Strong operational and people-management skills.
• Analytical approach with ability to act on performance metrics.
• Ability to own the operation and drive continuous improvements.

Responsabilités

• Take full day-to-day ownership of the delivery kitchen and its operating performance.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to create a positive and accountable environment.
• Drive delivery metrics: order times, accuracy, missing items, waste and customer ratings.
• Ensure food, operational and brand standards are consistently maintained.
• Monitor performance and take action to improve sales, service and efficiency.
• Manage stock, ordering and waste to keep the kitchen efficient.
• Coordinate with the General Manager at the Trafford Centre for scheduling and recruitment.
• Maintain organisation, compliance, and standards at all times.
• Be a visible leader even when senior management is absent.
• Use data to identify issues, understand performance, and drive improvements.
• Support resource sharing between kitchens as needed.
