Job summary

NHS Professionals are recruiting drivers to join the Community Equipment Stores team in Warrington. The role involves driving NHS Trust vehicles, delivering, installing and collecting community equipment from service users' homes and other locations, with heavy lifting and manual handling requirements.

Both part-time and full-time hours are available, with minimum 6-month contracts. Applicants should have a full UK driving licence; an FLT licence is preferred, and ELMS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• FLT licence preferred.
• Knowledge of ELMS system preferred.
• Experience using hand held devices for picking items in warehouse.
• Knowledge of hospital equipment fitting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive trust vehicles safely.
• Deliver, install, fit, dismantle and collect equipment in homes and other locations by a two-person team.
• Deliver and/or collect equipment suitable for one person to manage independently; provide installation/assembly as required.
• Carry out visual risk assessments in clients' homes.
• Use route planning facilities for deliveries/collections.
• Communicate with clients and carers in a sensitive and courteous manner.
• Support warehouse duties as needed (front desk, testing, stock control, decontamination, maintenance checks).
