Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced delivery drivers to join our Logistics team and handle NHS cargo deliveries. You will work across sites in Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties using light commercial vehicles, on a rota basis.

Roles involve multi‑drop deliveries, regular customer contact, and driving a light vehicle for most of the day. A full UK licence (Manual) with no endorsements is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence category B (manual) with no endorsements.
• Recent delivery driving experience using light commercial vehicles.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a rota and communicate politely with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NHS cargos including pathology, histopathology, pharmacy items, mail, parcels, stock and medical records.
• Drive light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes GVW for scheduled and ad hoc deliveries.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
