Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring Customer Service Team Members who deliver top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You’ll be on the road in all weather, using pre-planned routes and enjoying paid breaks.

Shifts include evenings and weekends with premiums boosting hourly earnings to around £14.42. Permanent role with 40 hours across seven days; overtime and perks enhance total compensation and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence required.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Some deliveries involve alcohol, you must be over 18 to apply.
• Strong communication skills are essential for a customer-facing role.

You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like!In return, we use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van!

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays - so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £14.42 per hour.

So what do we need from you?

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
• As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Type:

Permanent

Your contracted workweek is 40 hours over a seven day period.

Shifts:

AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:

This position is lunar paid.

This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.

Hourly Pay Rates:

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate)£13.96
• Evening Premium (from 6pm)£1.12
• Sunday Day Premium£1.40
• Sunday Evening Premium£2.63
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift)£17.45
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift)£18.57
