Job summary

Mayfield Distribution Ltd is hiring a self-employed delivery driver to handle parcel deliveries across Bolton and surrounding areas. The role involves loading the van, delivering parcels up to 23 kg, and using a tracking device to document each drop-off.

The position requires a van driving background, a UK or EU licence with up to six points, and eligibility to work in the UK. Salary is paid on an hourly basis with on-site parking available at the depot.

Qualifications

• Van driving experience required.
• Driving licence with max 6 points, no IN/TT/DR codes.
• UK or EU licence for over 1 year.
• Age verification for insurance, 21+.
• Right to work in UK.
• Criminal background check will be paid for.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple parcels of different sizes (up to 23kg) to UK addresses.
• Load the van with daily parcels and manage handover to customers.
• Use a delivery tracking device for all parcels delivered.
• Work from Bolton depot when required; route may include Bolton/Trafford Park areas.
• Operate on a self-employed basis with in-job training and growth opportunities.
