Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting a Driver's Mate on the outskirts of Carlisle for ad-hoc ongoing work. Pay £12.81 per hour. Working days Tuesday to Saturday.

Start time 07:30. Immediate start available; DBS check required; transport to site is needed. You will assist the driver with multi-drop deliveries, help load/unload safely, provide excellent customer service on-site, and ensure paperwork is completed accurately while keeping the workspace tidy.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role (lifting required).
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the driver with multi-drop deliveries.
• Helping load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Providing excellent customer service on-site.
