The Best Connection are recruiting for Driver's Mates to join our client based in Rotherham. The role involves assisting the driver, loading and unloading, and delivering equipment to customers in the local area. A DBS check is required and the role focuses on reliability and good local knowledge.

Pay is £12.77 per hour, with an average of 10–15 deliveries per day. The position is based in Rotherham and involves direct customer interaction and paperwork/scanning responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Full UK driving licence required, ideally with clean record (max 3 points).
• Good customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Reliable and punctual with a practical, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries.

• Assist with reversing and manoeuvring the vehicle.
• Provide navigation and support to the driver during routes.

The role:

We are looking for someone who:

• Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Has good customer service and communication skills
• Is reliable and punctual
• Can work well as part of a team
• Has good local geographical knowledge
• Is confident dealing with customers face-to-face
• Has a practical/DIY mindset
• Holds a full UK driving licence (ideally with a clean licence/max 3 points)

A DBS check will be required for this role.
