Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking a part-time Customer Service Team Member to deliver quality goods and provide a friendly, reliable service to customers during every delivery. You will join a team that uses automated route planning and supports flexible shifts.

The role is 3 x 8-hour shifts per week with paid breaks. A full UK driving licence with 12 months’ experience is required, max 6 points and no disqualifications in 5 years, and you must be 18+ for alcohol deliveries.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Full UK/EU driving licence with minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points and no disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Must be over 18 due to alcohol deliveries.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and perfect for those looking for a part-time schedule. You will work 3 x 8‑hour shifts each week with shifts scheduled on different days each week. On top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.24 per hour.

So what do we need from you?

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
• As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Contract Hours: 24 hours per week (including paid breaks)

Contracted days: You will be required to work any 3 days out of 7 doing 8 hour shifts, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.

Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
