Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring part-time Customer Service Team Members who drive deliveries across the UK. You’ll be out on the road in all weathers, with 3 eight-hour shifts weekly, and our automated route planning will pre-load your van to boost efficiency.

No previous experience is required; you’ll receive full training. You must be 18+, hold a full UK or EU driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, and pass DBS/Right to Work checks before starting.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• Over 18 to apply, customer-facing role requires good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers on time and in good condition.

Job description

• Our friendly recruitment team will get in touch to conduct an Online Licence Check and Right to Work Checks.
• You will be invited to take a tour of the site, giving you the opportunity to meet the team for a question-and-answer session
• We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS).
• Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start!

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Shift & Pay Details

Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance. Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
