Job summary

Ocado Logistics in Leicester is seeking a part-time delivery driver with a focus on friendly customer service and safe, on-time deliveries. You will be out on the road in all weather, using pre-planned routes and pre-loaded vans to meet customer expectations.

You’ll work 3 x 8-hour shifts per week (AM & PM), with shifts starting as early as 05:30 and finishing around midnight. The role includes paid breaks, a pension plan, health benefits, and shopping discounts.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• Some deliveries involve alcohol products; you must be over 18 to apply
• Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
• Contract Hours: 24 hours per week
• Contracted days: 3 days out of 7 on 8 hour shifts; AM & PM shifts
• Shifts: AM & PM; start as early as 05:30, finish as late as 12:00 (midnight)
• Pay Structure: Paid every 4 weeks (lunar pay)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and perfect for those looking for a part-time schedule. You will work 3 x 8-hour shifts each week with shifts scheduled on different days each week. On top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.75 per hour.

All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. That’s a great deal!

So what do we need from you?

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
• Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
• Contract Hours: 24 hours per week (including paid breaks)
• Contracted days: You will be required to work any 3 days out of 7 doing 8 hour shifts, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.
• Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
• Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
