Job summary

Benugo's Central Production Unit supplies fresh sandwiches, salads and freshly baked goods 6 days per week to our locations from high street cafes to museums and corporate sites across the UK. The role involves collecting stock, packing orders, planning routes and performing van checks to ensure timely deliveries with a focus on friendly client interactions and adherence to company policy.

The position offers £14/h with a £1/h shift premium for night/morning hours (12am–6am) and a benefits

Qualifications

• Must have valid UK driving license and be able to drive delivery vans.
• Excellent route planning and time management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• The main responsibilities include collecting stock or goods and ensuring orders are completed.
• Packing goods in delivery vehicle in the order of deliveries.
• Planning shortest and best routes to clients considering roadblocks and traffic.
• Carrying out regular vehicle checks and reporting issues.
• Ensuring delivered goods are in good condition.
• Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintaining clear communication about delays or breakdowns.
• Adhering to Driving for Work Policy.
• Hours will be discussed at interview.

Job description

Our Central Production Unit supplies fresh sandwiches, salads and freshly baked goods 6 days per week to our locations from high street cafes to museums and corporate sites across the UK.

The main responsibilities include:

• Collecting stock or goods from a collection point and ensuring that all customer orders are completed
• Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made
• Planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration - The City of London
• Carrying out regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
• Ensuring delivered goods are in good condition
• Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Good communication skills - ensure the office is informed of any delayed deliveries, vehicle breakdowns etc
• Following the company's Driving for Work Policy
• Working hours - will be discussed at the interview

Pay rate is £14/h - Extra £1/h during night/morning hours (12am to 6am)
