Job summary

A leading food service provider in Greater London is seeking a logistics support staff member. Your role will involve ensuring accurate loading and unloading of goods, maintaining a clean work environment, and following health and safety protocols. Experience in Pick and Pack logistics is beneficial but not mandatory. Qualifications

• Experience of working in a Pick and Pack logistics environment.
• Familiarity with labelling and dispatch of goods is preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure goods loaded or unloaded match the paperwork.
• Distribute unloading goods across the unit.
• Report any damaged or missing goods to management.
• Maintain a clean and tidy unit environment and equipment.
• Follow health and safety rules when handling goods.
• Pick and pack products.
• Rotate stock following FIFO.

Job description

Our Central Production Unit supplies fresh sandwiches, salads and freshly baked goods 6 days per week to our locations from high street cafes to museums and corporate sites across the UK.

What will you be doing?

Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork

Distribution across the unit of all unloading goods

Reporting any damaged or missing goods to management

Keeping the unit environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment

Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods

Picking and packing of products

Rotating stock following FIFO

About you

Experience of working in a Pick and Pack logistics

Experience with labelling and dispatch of goods is would be preferred, however, not necessary
