Job summary

Berwick Care based in Telford is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to cover deliveries across the UK, representing the company with professionalism and excellent customer service.

You will load routes, deliver promptly, collect PODs, perform daily vehicle checks, and assist warehouse tasks when not delivering. A full UK driving licence is preferred; training or support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic IT literacy for POD and navigation apps.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Load, check, and prepare delivery routes for daily runs.
• Deliver orders promptly and accurately, offering unloading assistance.
• Obtain customer signatures using POD system and return notes promptly.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report issues promptly.
• Support warehouse operations when not delivering (picking, packing, labelling).
• Keep van clean, tidy, and roadworthy following 5S principles.
