Job summary

Cencora in Wetherby is seeking a Multi Drop Van Driver to join our delivery team. You will deliver products to customers safely and on time, acting as a company representative and ensuring high standards of customer care.

The role requires a full driving license and good communication skills, with responsibilities including vehicle checks, loading orders, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Contributory pension, perks, and holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• A full driving license is required for the vehicle driven
• Licences with points may affect shortlist decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Excellent customer care is essential
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy are required
• Desirable: previous multi-drop delivery driving experience
• Desirable: route planning experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver company products to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain safe driving standards and adhere to traffic laws
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report faults or delays
• Keep vehicle clean and ensure fuel for the day is sufficient
• Load orders and ensure correct items are on the vehicle
• Handle goods returns and adhere to HazChem procedures when needed
• Present a smart appearance and maintain good customer relations
• Contribute to warehouse tasks as required by management
• Meet all Health & Safety requirements
