Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring Customer Service Team Members to deliver quality groceries to customers on time and with a smile. You’ll be out on the road in all weather, joining a team that uses pre-planned routes and paid breaks.

Shifts include evenings and weekends, with premiums boosting hourly earnings to about £13.82 on average. We offer a comprehensive perk set, including pension, health benefits, shopping discounts, life cover, and progression opportunities, with 40-hour weeks and 5 days out

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Over 18 to apply for alcohol deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top quality products on time as part of Ocado Logistics.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Work any 5 days out of 7 with 8-hour shifts (or 4 days out of 7 with 10-hour shifts).
• Shift times may start as early as 05:30 and finish by 00:00; rota provided up to 13 weeks ahead.
• Paid breaks and a monthly-like pay structure.

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays - so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.82 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions!

So what do we need from you?

You dont need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days

You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 working 8 hour shifts, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.

We are also currently hiring a small number of drivers required to work any 4 days out of 7 working 10 hour shifts (following 4 week training period)

Shifts

AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure

The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
