Job summary

Breedon Group plc operates a network of concrete plants across the UK, and this role at the Elsham Concrete Plant focuses on delivering our aggregates and concrete to customers in Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. You will be trained on our products and processes to meet Breedon’s high standards of safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has an HGV licence with CPC, a Class C licence, and a good working knowledge of the local delivery routes.

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGV vehicles with valid Class C licence and CPC.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends.
• Knowledge of local area and safe delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Driving safely and efficiently.
• Liaise and build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and internal/external customers.
• Ensure deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritising the health, safety, and environmental standards of Breedon.
• Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimise delivery schedules and routes.
• Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
