Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting a Delivery Driver for the Ryde Delivery Office. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your round, on foot and by van where required.

The role combines physical activity with flexible shifts, with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week for the period. A full, manual UK driving licence is essential, and you must be prepared to pass a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Must have a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, ensuring items reach destinations safely.
• Drive a Royal Mail van as part of your round and work across your delivery area.
• Provide excellent service and represent Royal Mail in the community.
