Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring a Delivery Driver for the Erith area. You will be on the road across evenings and weekends, with routes pre-planned by our automated system. The base pay is complemented by premiums to raise hourly earnings to £14.42, plus overtime opportunities and all breaks paid.

Expect a 37.5–40 hour week, with shifts AM/PM, paid on a lunar cycle. No prior experience is necessary; just a positive attitude and reliable driving record. This is a great entry into Ocado Logistics.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence is mandatory.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience required.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points; no disqualifications in the last 5 years.
• Must be over 18 due to handling alcohol products; strong communication skills essential.

Requirements

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

• Driving Licence Requirements:
  • Full UK or EU driving licence
  • Minimum of 12 months driving experience
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points
  • No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
  • Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
  • As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Details

• Hours: 37.5 or 40 hours (including paid breaks)
• Working days: Any 5 days out of 7, with 7.5 or 8 hour shifts, further info during pre-boarding
• Shifts: AM & PM, start as early as 05:30, finish as late as 12:00 midnight
• Pay Structure: Lunar paid, paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule

Hourly Pay Rates

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £13.78
• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £14.90
• Sunday Day Premium: £15.16
• Sunday Evening Premium: £16.39
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £17.23
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £18.35
