Job summary

Sainsbury's is hiring Delivery Drivers in the Liverpool area to deliver Argos products directly to customers or collection points. You will load the van, complete a set number of drops per shift, and follow guidance from an ePod to stay on schedule.

You'll provide friendly service, aim for timely deliveries, and prioritize safety on the road with support from on-road guidance and a strong customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Must be above school-leaver age in your country.
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Full UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Argos products to customers' front doors or collection points.
• Load the van and complete a set number of drops per shift with guidance from an ePod.
• Ensure timely, accurate deliveries with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Benefit from route guidance and on-road support to return to site within shift times.

Eligibility:

You must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK

You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

You must be fully licenced to drive and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.

Whilst many of our roles will be temporary over the festive period, there may also be permanent opportunities available - please check the contract type and schedule hours before applying to ensure that the role is right for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• With a market-leading delivery service offering over 60,000 products, you'll handle items with care, delivering Argos products directly to customers' front doors or their preferred collection point
• Responsible for loading the van and delivering a set number of drops in a shift with guidance from an ePod
• Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries with a friendly and professional attitude
• We will provide phone support while you're on the road, and our route guidance will ensure you return to the site within your shift times
• Safe driving and adherence to guidelines are essential
