Job summary

Plumb Centre in Chelmsford is hiring a Delivery Driver 7.5T to join our team. You will deliver to customers and building sites across Essex and surrounding areas with 5–10 multi-drop runs per day.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00–16:00, with no weekend work. A Full UK Driving Licence and CPC qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Digital taco card and CPC training completed.
• Previous multidrop driving preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items to customers and building sites in Essex and surrounding area.
• Carry out 5–10 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Load and unload deliveries and perform daily vehicle checks.
• Assist in the warehouse on return from deliveries with stock checks and packing.

Driving a 7.5t vehicle and delivering items to our customers and building sites in Essex and the surrounding area.

• You will be involved in 5 - 10 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 07:00am - 16:00pm with 1hrs break. No weekend work required.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• A digital taco card and to have completed your CPC training.
• Previous multidrop driving is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
