Job summary

Hutchinsons in Selby, England, is seeking a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our friendly team at the Selby depot. The role includes delivering agricultural products to local farms, assisting with warehouse tasks, stock control, and paperwork checks.

You will drive well-maintained Class 2 vehicles and follow safety protocols. Typical hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 with early starts in spring/summer, a 25-day holiday allowance, and a permanent contract with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK Drivers Licence is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver agricultural products to local farms.
• Assist the warehouse team with picking, loading and paperwork checks at start of day.
• Manage stock control and retention, and collate relevant paperwork.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver agricultural products to local farms
• Start your day assisting the warehouse team with picking, loading and paperwork checks
• Stock control and retention
• Collating relevant paperwork
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and secure your load
• Deliver and collect goods across the local area
• Some manual handling required – you must be physically fit
• Follow all safety protocols and transport regulations (training provided)

Desirable but not essential:

• Driver CPC card
