Job summary

AO is seeking a delivery driver in Exeter to operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle, delivering large appliances directly to customers' homes. You will follow health and safety procedures, handle items carefully, and work closely with a supportive team.

The role offers full training and a uniform, with a 42-hour week (5 on 3 off) and a starting salary of £30,872.91 per year. A customer‑facing position, you’ll be the friendly, problem‑solving face of AO.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence is essential.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Must have no criminal convictions.
• Passion for driving and customer service.
• Willing to wear uniform and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle between customer sites.
• Deliver heavy white goods to customers’ homes.
• Manual handling of large appliances (using a sack barrow).
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures.
• Report incidents, product issues or damage.
• Strong team work.

• Salary: £14.14 per hour / £30,872.91 per annum
• Hours: 5 on 3 off shift pattern working 8am-6pm (42 hours per week)

You’ll Have
